Need a Number Man?

A friend of mine, Daniel Mathers, from Uni has recently opened his own Accounting practice. Normally I wouldn’t just recommend someone because they’re a friend, but having studied Business with Daniel (who used to own his own pharmacy) I trust that he would provide an excellent service and be VERY good at his job. Below is part of an e-mail he sent explaining what he can offer and gives details of his website, facebook site etc. Daniel is a great guy so if you know of someone who could use his services, please pass on his details:

My main service areas in my business are financial statements preparation, cash flow statements and periodic reporting for business (e.g. quarterly accounts), business (e.g. company, trust and partnership) and individual income tax returns. My other area of specialisation is self-managed superannuation fund compliance (i.e. SMSF administration and preparation of financial statements and the annual return). I also provide corporate registry services.

The main points of difference about my accounting practice are:

1. The first meeting (up to an hour) between me and a potential new client who has a business and/or a self-managed fund is performed at no charge;
2. I will give a fixed price fee quote for yearly work for business and self-managed superannuation funds (excluding special assignments) so clients know what to expect with regards to fees;
3. Business and self-managed superannuation funds are able to pay their yearly fees per month or per quarter, making it easier on their cash flow; and
4. I have the flexibility of being able to work from a client’s home, client’s business premises or from my home office.

As social media is so entrenched in Australian society, I have established a Facebook page for my business: and my website is live:

My contact details are below, please do not hesitate to contact me should you have any queries or if I can assist you or someone you know.

Kind regards
