Our First Baby Class

This morning we went to an hour’s free early pregnancy class. They gave us information about eating healthy, exercising etc as well as options for where to have the baby. They mainly discussed the difference between midwife-led birthing centres and normal labour wards. It was really helpful.

When we were getting out of the car, another couple who live in our flats were getting out of their car. They had ‘followed’ us the whole way! We all thought it was hilarious that we had lived across the hall from each other for 2 and a half years, and this was the first time we actually properly introduced ourselves. They (Melanie and Simon) are due towards the end of January, so we won’t be the only ones keeping the neighbours awake with a baby (not that we will coz it’s fairly soundproof).

It was nice to meet them properly and hopefully we’ll be able to catch up from time to time, especially once both babies are born …. small world 🙂
