Adrian and I have had a lovely weekend together. It started off with my usual phone call to Fran on Saturday morning, and then we had leftover pizzas (nice ones from the shop) for lunch. After lunch we drove to Stoke Poges and went for a nice walk for about 2 hours through the fields, golf course etc. Then for dinner we went to the Royal Adelaide Hotel in Windsor where we had a scrumptious 4 course meal, including chocolate fondu for dessert!
On Sunday we had a lazy day. We did the groceries, washing, watched some tv, did some puzzle and just relaxed together. Then after dinner we went to the theatre in Woking to see 4 Poofs and a Piano. They are a comedy musical act, and are very clever, and funny too.
This week I am on mid-term break, but Adrian is still working. Today I have spent the day catching up on some school work, and then the rest of the week is free. I’ll hopefully be catching up with Hilary on Thursday, and then Adrian and I are going into the city with Jess and her friends for her birthday on Saturday night. Other than that, the plan is that I have no plan – wake up when I want to, read, do my puzzle, muck around on the internet, ring people in Australia – the usual holiday thing.
And for those of you who are counting, it is 7 weeks until I’m back on Aussie soil. Each day I get more and more excited about Fran having her baby – I can’t wait to meet our Godchild!! And of course I can’t wait to catch up with you all. Lots of love for now xoxo
