Last night, Adrian and I went to Riverside Brasserie, in Bray. As the name suggests it’s on the river, but unfortunately the weather wasn’t great, so we had to sit inside. Nevertheless our meals were delicious – we had a full 3 course meal, which we haven’t done for ages. We both had pumpkin tortellini for entrée, then I had lamb and Adrian had steak. Mine came on a bed of cabbage and I ordered a side of broccoli, which was cooked with chilli and garlic – really nice. Adrian’s came with triple cooked chips – full of fat, but scrumptious 🙂 Then for dessert we both had the crème brûlée, which was even better than the one we had in Paris (well I thought so anyway).
We had a lovely evening reminiscing about the wedding, and all the things we’ve done since then. The rest of the week is hopefully going to be fairly quiet – just work and a few meetings here and there. Then of course on Sunday it’s Adrian’s birthday, but I think we’ll just do something nice and quiet. I have a few ideas up my sleeve, but will keep quiet and let you know what we end up doing.
Thank you for all our lovely emails, cards, well wishes etc. We had a wonderful anniversary, and look forward to many more adventures over here. Lots of love to you all xoxo
